What is Fibes?

Fibes is a functional fruit puree made with upcycled apple pomace that supports your gut with natural energy and healthy fiber. Our mission is to keep ambitious people healthy and productive.

Why should I eat Fibes?

On average, we consume around 6x less fiber than our ancestors did. However, dietary fiber is a crucial part of a healthy diet and has many benefits ranging from a calmer stomach and better wellbeing to reducing the risk of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

Who is Fibes for?

Fibes was created to assist people with a hectic and stressful lifestyle stay healthy and productive. However, the benefits of Fibes should be enjoyed by everyone who doesn't meet their recommended daily fiber intake or lacks a diversity of fruits and veggies in their diet.

What is Fibes made from?

Fibes is made from apple pomace left over from juice production, fruit purees such as peach, pineapple, etc. and a special mix of dietary fiber developed by food scientist to help support your gut microbiome. You can read more about our ingredients here: Our Ingredients

How is Fibes produced?

Here's the step-by-step process of Fiber production:

1. The apples are washed and imperfections are removed.

2. The apples are crushed and juice is pressed.

3. The leftover pomace (pulp, seeds, stems) are moistened with water.

4. The pomace is heated and sieved to remove the seeds and stems.

5. The pomace is mixed with togeher with the fruit purees and fiber mix according to the specific recipe.

6. The puree is heated and homogenized.

7. The puree is filled into pouches.

8. The pouches are pasteurized, dried and packaged into boxes.

Allergens and Dietary Restrictions

Fibes is designed to be enjoyed as many people as possbile. Fibes can be consumed by children and while pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are diabetic, we advise you to consult with your healthcare provider before adding our purees to your diet.

"Feel Good" contains Rye fiber which contributes to normal bowel function.

How should I eat Fibes?

We like to eat our fibes in the morning together with breakfast, before lunch or in the afternoon as a delicious and nutritious snack. Since it stores well and is in a tough package, throw on in your bag in the morning. You'll have a snack waiting for you whenever you're running low on energy or getting hungry.

What effects can I expect from eating Fibes?

A single pouch of Fibes will help you relieve hunger and help keep you full and productive until your next meal. You'll probably feel better about taking care of the little friends in your gut as well.

What does Fibes taste like?

Fibes has a pleasant natural fruit taste depending on the exact recipe. It has an enjoyable mild and balanced flavor - not overly sweet and just the right amount of acidity. It's quite viscous, which is ideal for relieving hunger. We have put a lot of effort into making it enjoyable for everyone. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!

What if I don't like the taste?

That's totally fine! Flavor is such a personal thing and although we try our best, we can't always satisfy everyone. If you didn't enjoy your Fibes, we'd recommend you try out our other recipes. If you still aren't happy, you can get your money back within 30 days, no worries. We'd love to hear your feedback so in the future we can develop our fruit purees to suit your taste as well.

Can I eat too much Fibes?

The USDA's recommended daily intake of fiber is as follows:

Women under 50: 25 to 28 grams per day
Men under 50: 31 to 34 grams per day
Women 51 and older: 22 grams per day
Men 51 and older: 28 grams per day

Fibes has around 6g of fiber per pouch. If you have a diet low in dietary fiber, you should not worry about eating too much Fibes. We recommend you to increase the amount of fiber rich foods in your diet. Eating a second pouch a day is totally fine as well.

If you have a diet already high in fiber, we recommend you to not excede the recommended daily intake. Eating too much fiber can lead to bloating, gas, constipation or diarrhea.

Additionally, there are many products on the market stating that they're "Rich in Fiber". We always recommend reading product lables and the source of fiber. For a healthy diet, it is important to have diversity in the fiber you consume. Many products only use inulin or some other single source of fiber, which may lead to over consumption of a single type of fiber. We use a mix of different fibers in our products to ensure diversity. I feel bloated or have gas after eating Fibes. What should I do?

Depending on your current diet you may feel some changes happening in your stomach during the first few days of eating Fibes. The sudden increase of fiber may result in feeling a bit bloated or more gas than usual. This is due to the changes and increased activity in your gut microbiome. These effects should disappear after a few days. If they persist, we recommend trying to lower the amount of Fibes, switching to a different recipe or consulting a healthcare or nutrition specialist.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the following countries:

How do you ship Fibes?

Fibes is packaged in a cardboard box and shipped with our shipping partners Itella Estonia OÜ and Omniva (Eesti Post AS). Shipping usually takes up to 3 work days but may take up to 7 work days.

My order was damaged during shipment. What should I do?

If your Fibes arrived in a damaged box, please inspect the pouches. If the pouches haven't been compromised, the products are safe to consume. If you notice any damages to any of the pouches (punctures, leaks, loose caps, etc.) please let us know at support@kodas.ee and we will replace your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Stripe as our payment processor. We accept the following payment methods:

Do you have gift cards?

We do not currently offer gift cards. However, we are working on adding gift cards to our store as soon as possible. You can sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when we launch gift cards on our store.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Refunds should usually take up to 10 days to be processed from the time we process your request depending on the bank used.
